To start the "transform scratch"is a technique of cutting the sound. It's another basic scratch technique. "Transform"Because we are going to transform the sound with this technique. We are going to use the crossfader in an intense way unlike the techniques seen before.

First of all use quite long samples. Then we will make back and forth with the vinyl rather slowly. On the other hand our crossfader movements are fast. The movements are to be made with a constant rhythm. Moreover these movements are to be carried out with the wrist and not the arm. For the "transform"You have to start with the crossfader closed. Note that these are constant rhythm openings and closings, not cuts.
