Session Drums Multimic by Ableton is a meticulously recorded library of acoustic drums that reproduces the nuances of a recording session and puts you in the engineer's seat. Session Drums gives you full control of the mics near each drum kit, as well as the overhead and room mics, so you can create the perfect drum mix.

First of all Session Drum Multimic contains nearly 8 GB of drum samples. Each drum was recorded from different microphone positions. Near, over and in the room. Allowing you to dial in just the right amount of each. For added realism, each drum also includes "bleed" samples, which allow you to mix in the ambient resonance of the snare drum. You can choose a variety of sticks, mallets or brushes and even different types of bass drummers.

Session Drums Multimic includes 14 drum rack presets. In the drum racks, each drum and microphone has a separate channel, so you can easily mix, add effects and swap drums to customize your kit. For example, you can load a brush kit, swap out the snare drum, play the ride cymbal with a mallet, remove the mics close to the mix (leaving only the overhead and room mics), add a little bleed to the mix. mic under the snare drum, tweak the kick drum a little, or customize it in any other way you can imagine.
