Drop Herse by K-Devices into your track and manipulate the audio in real time. Also Herse is a multi-effect slicer that allows you to rearrange your signal and apply a defined amount of effect to each slice.

Use Herse with your audio clips or apply it directly to the audio input, slicing in real time and processing each slice with individual effect settings. Herse is not only great when used with percussive sounds, it also does a great job on bass lines, synths and can be very interesting when applied to vocals and guitars.

The effects

Herse's effects include roll, wavhaper distortion, amplitude envelope, low-pass filter, amplitude modulation, resonator and output volume control. Each effect uses the internal step sequencers to apply different amounts of effect per step of chopped audio. The step sequencers can also control timbre parameters, such as the curve of the roll effect. Set a maximum amount of effect per slice, then fine-tune it step by step using the dedicated step sequencers. Or let different random modes take over.

Suitable for all tempo

Thanks to its flexible time engine, Herse is excellent at any tempo. You can work with two time resolutions simultaneously and morph between them with a dedicated control. Or you can increase the amount of swing to fit your live set perfectly - the chopping grid and step sequencer allow triplets and dotted notes.

The variable number of steps (from 2 to 16) can create a polyrhythmic effect pattern. Finally by using the drunkwalk or freeze function, some very complex effect textures are within reach - while keeping everything transport related.
