Chirp one click flare combo
How to do the one click flare combo ?
The green lines correspond to the movements made with the hand on the vinyl while the red lines correspond to the release of the vinyl.
The dashed lines represent the stops in the movement.
The crossfader cuts are represented by the black lines.
The crossfader openings are the blue lines and the closures in orange.
The movement of the crossfader is always that of the chirp. It is the movement of the vinyl that is different.
It's a short round trip followed by another one twice as long for the one click flare.
Repeat the gesture for the vinyl movement so that it becomes a reflex.
Then associate the movement of the crossfader progressively with it.
Practice at a slow pace to get a good feel for the combination and then gradually speed up.
Good scratch and if you can't do it, drop it and work on the chirp and the one click flare and come back to it later.
